If you are an agent logging into the Alloy dashboard and your organization has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for logging in, you’ll need to set it up with either an authenticator app or via SMS the next time you log in.
This article will cover the following sections:
Via Authenticator App (preferred)
After logging in with your email and password, you will be asked to set up your multi-factor authentication.
- Use your organization’s approved authentication app (eg. Microsoft Authenticator, Twilio Authy) to scan the QR code.
- If you’re unable to scan the QR code, copy and paste the manual code into the authenticator app.
- Press continue and input the 6-digit code from your app
- There will be a confirmation on the upper-right hand corner and you’ll be asked to sign in once more.
Via Text Message (US numbers only)
If you are unable to use an authenticator app and have a US number that can receive text messages, you’d be able to set up MFA via text message.
- Input your phone number. This phone number must match the number configured to your Alloy account.
- You should be sent a 6-digit code to your phone automatically. If not, click the Resend Code option.
- There will be a confirmation on the upper right hand corner when complete, and you’ll be asked to sign in once more.
