Clients implementing document verification into their workflows can use Alloy's Image Metrics service as part of a best practices workflow. This service evaluates uploaded images for characteristics like blurriness or darkness before they are passed to an integrated DocV data vendor. The workflow can be configured to return a Retake Images outcome, which can then prompt the applicant to upload a better image to be passed to the data vendor. This service is not enabled by default, so please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support@alloy.com for more information.
Additional DocV articles are available which dive into considerations for using a DocV service as well as Alloy's DocV SDK.
