Building off of the Journeys Overview, the purpose of this article is to outline the steps to create an example Journey which includes Individual Onboarding, Document Verification, and Credit Underwriting workflows.

Prerequisites

• Journeys must be enabled in your account
  • If the Journeys option is not available along the left navigation in the Alloy dashboard, contact your CSM or support@alloy.com.
• Permissions to create a Journey
  • Agent can create new Workflows
  • Agent can view all or specific Workflows, as well as Entities, Reviews, and Evaluations for those Workflows
• Pre-existing workflows for Onboarding, Document Verification, and Credit Underwriting

Creating the Journey

1. Access Journeys on the left menu in the Alloy dashboard.
2. Click Create Journey.
3. Name the Journey. 
4. Select Origination use case.
5. Select Single Entity Application Type.
6. The Start node has one branch named "persons" by default. To create additional branches, click the three dots and select Add New Branch. Or rename the branch to distinguish entity type (person or business) or membership (new member or existing member) or application source (in branch, OAO, etc).
7. Click the + icon at the right end of the first branch. In the Workflow menu, then select the pre-configured workflow of choice. For example, select a KYC workflow.
8. The chosen workflow will be added in addition to new branches based on the outcomes in the Workflow. These steps assume the branches are Approved, Denied, Manual Review.
9. On the Approved branch, click the + icon to select the next action. In the Terminal Outcome menu, select Approved.
10. On the Denied branch, click the + icon to select the next action. In the Terminal Outcome menu, select Denied.
11. On the Manual Review branch, click the + icon to select the next action. In the Human Review menu, select Manual Review.
12. On the Approved branch, click the + icon to select the next action. In the Terminal Outcome menu, select Approved.
13. On the Denied branch, click the + icon to select the next action. In the Terminal Outcome menu, select Denied.
14. 🎉 Congratulations! The Journey is now complete.

While the Journey configured in this article is just an example of a simple Onboarding/Origination use case, it demonstrates the basic steps to get started creating your own Journeys in the Alloy dashboard. These branches do not need to end in a terminal outcome; you can continue building out your Journey flow with more Workflows
