Evaluation and Journey Application Response Times

Learn about Alloy’s typical Evaluation and Journey Application response times as well as common causes of delays.

Most Evaluations and Journey Applications are completed very quickly, although some Evaluations and Journey Applications may take longer to complete.

Why processing may take longer

Response times vary based on the Journey’s configuration and the services it uses. Processing may take longer when:

  • A third-party provider requires asynchronous processing, human review, or document scanning.

  • Multiple vendor calls that run one after another add their durations together. Complex Journeys with many sequential calls are especially prone to higher latency.

  • An applicant or agent must provide additional information, complete verification, or take a required action. This is expected waiting time where a human must complete an action before the Journey can progress.

  • The application is waiting for a vendor webhook before processing can continue.

While processing continues, an Evaluation or Journey Application may remain in a pending or running status.
