The Allowlist and Denylist are Alloy services that can be used to automatically approve or deny evaluations based on one or more input PII elements. In order for this service to work as intended, the List service must be added to a workflow and the Allowlist or Denylist must contain PII. If you don't see the Allowlist or Denylist service available in your Workflow, please contact support@alloy.com.
Your organization’s Allowlist and Denylist can be accessed and managed from Settings. To reach these settings, navigate to Settings, then Lists from the Settings menu. From there, you can either update the Denylist, Allowlist, or create a new list.
On this page, you can:
- Export your CSV
- Update the existing list
- Replace the current list with a new list
- Remove entities from the list
Export your CSV
From the Lists page, click the list you would like to download, then the Export CSV button to download the entire list.
Update Existing List
From the Lists page, click the List you would like to update.
This will open the existing list where you can add to the list by clicking the Add To List button on the top right of the page. Once clicked, a modal will popup allowing you to either manually add data to the list, or download a template, which will allow you to add entries in bulk using the CSV (bulk upload method). This method will append the newly uploaded entities to your existing list.
Additionally, individual entities can be added via the evaluation summary page.
Replace Existing List With New List
From the List page, click the More Options (...) menu. From this menu, select Replace List.
This will open a modal where can upload a file using the CSV (bulk upload method). This method will entirely replace the current list with the newly uploaded entities. See the article Allowlist/Denylist Settings: Delete Entities from the List for additional details.
Important:
Deleting data from a list is an irreversible action. Please exercise caution when deleting data from these lists and only proceed if you are absolutely certain about your decision to remove the data.
Remove entities from the list
Entities can be removed either by deleting selected rows or deleting the entire list. See the article Allowlist/Denylist Settings: Delete Entities from the List for additional details on each option.
Important:
Deleting data from a list is an irreversible action. Please exercise caution when deleting data from these lists and only proceed if you are absolutely certain about your decision to remove the data.
