Alloy receives an application after a contracted financial services company’s digital platform sends the request to Alloy. This typically happens after a prospective customer presses "Submit" on their application within the platform. When a customer presses submit on their application, the platform sends their data (the "request" or "payload") via API to Alloy. Alloy receives the request and sends that data to the configured services in the respective Alloy workflow. The services send back a response to Alloy, and Alloy uses that information in the workflow to reach an outcome such as Approved, Denied, or Manual Review. All of this happens within a few seconds, after which the prospective customer should receive feedback on their application.
